With my personal background being in computers I have always has a strong interest with the possibilities of projection art. With my programming skills I hope to create projection art system, much like the works of Glass Bead Collective and Dataton’s Projections.

Many projects and performance consist of art installations as continuous operation, semi-permanent events. Projection can operate as an intervention within the city as an ephemeral public art crossing the boundaries of art, architecture and performance.

I also believe this is an untapped market for advertising, the possibility of paying a fee to a landlord of the allowances to project at night on to a large tower block to advertise seems like a no braine.

Such an example being a company like Diageo projecting there products onto building like Central Point in Soho, late at night. Could this not be the perfect marketing tool, quick, easy, cheep.

Im all over this as a project.
