The creative duo Kjell Ekhorn (Norwegian) and Jon Forss (British) both with their working partnership non-format work on a range huge range of projects including art direction, design, illustration and custom typography for arts & culture, music industry, fashion and advertising clients.
As with before I have had the privilege of meeting Jon Foss, the UK side of the partnership, Kjell Ekhorn currently lives in New York.
having the opportunity to speak about there partnership was an insight into serene partnerships I should consider such as animation and typography.
Both designers have a strong style that complement each other, yet without the partnership the outcome can only have the best of one world, typography or design, with the partnership many errors are cleaned up before public ever view the design, giving the impression that this small team of 2 have a fantastic design and working environment.
To appreciate there creativity you need to view there different markets of design, with each design working for many different purposes.
From introducing a art show.
To designing for a big phone company.
The differences could not be more, but yet there style still holds strong yet the message could not be more different.
