Although many artist present there work in many other ways, for what I would term “old media” to develop and change there views on what a museum should be. Although not throwing off every part of the museum design, which as not changed much since the Victorian times.
I believe they have made the next step in hitting the old dusty museums and giving them a needed shake. Museums such as the Tate modern don’t need this they are up to date with the media unlike the National Portrait Museum, which I believe is the next step if not one of the first steps that a museum many others.
Rather than taking there Art work to big galleries across the world, to take the art work to places of creation, places of historic interest to the artwork and to diastase places which hold an interest within the work, To date a website or print will not show the creation of the work, to take the work the people that appreciate it is one of the biggest shack up that is needed with art.
